How to set up a Cash App account

And now, with the Cash App card, you can even use your Cash App balance to make purchases at retailers that accept Visa.
If you’re new to Cash App, here’s how to set up your account so that you can start using it to send and receive money:
1. Download Cash App from the App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Open the app and enter your phone number or email address. You’ll then be prompted to enter your full name and create a unique username (which will be your @cashtag).
3. Once you’ve created your account, you’ll need to link a debit card in order to start sending and receiving money. To do this, tap the “My Money” tab on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen and then select “Add a Bank.” Enter your debit card information and select “Add Card.”
4. Now that your debit card is linked, you can start using Cash App right away! To add money to your account, tap the “My Money” tab again and select “Add Cash.” Enter the amount of cash you’d like to deposit and hit “Add.” Please note that there is a $5,000 per day limit on deposits.
5. To make a payment using your Cash App balance, simply tap the “Pay” tab on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and enter the amount you’d like to send. Then hit “Pay” and type in the recipient’s @cashtag or phone number—you can alsoselect someone from your contacts list by tapping “Contacts”—and hit “Pay.” That’s it! The funds will be withdrawn from your account immediately and deposited into theirs within minutes*. You can also use your Cash App card at any retailer that accepts Visa—just swipe it like any other credit or debit card.
How to add money to your Cash App account
There are a few different ways to add money to your Cash App account. You can link a bank account or debit card and deposit money that way, or you can transfer money from another Cash App user. You can also receive money from a friend or family member who already has a Cash App account.
If you want to deposit cash onto your Cash App card, you’ll need to Link a bank account first. Here’s how:
1. Tap the Banking tab on your Cash App home screen
2. Select Add Bank
3. Enter your bank details and hit Continue
4. Follow the prompts to confirm your bank account
Once your bank account is linked, you can Deposit cash by selecting it as your payment method when sending money.
How to use your Cash App card
You can use your Cash App card, like a debit card, to pay for goods and services. You can also withdraw cash from your card at ATM machines. To do either of these things, you will need to deposit cash onto your Cash App card. Here is how to do that:
To deposit cash onto your Cash App card:
1. Take your Cash App card to a participating ATM.
2. Insert your Cash Card into the ATM and enter your PIN.
3. Select “Deposit.”
4. Enter the amount of cash you want to deposit and select “Deposit.”
5. Your money will be deposited into your Cash App balance and you will receive a confirmation receipt.
How to withdraw money from your Cash App account
If you have a Cash App balance, you can withdraw money at any time by going to your account and tapping ‘withdraw’. There is no fee to withdraw money from your Cash App balance, but if you want to withdraw more than $100 per day, you may be asked to verify your identity.

Open the Cash App on your iPhone or Android device. Tap the “$” sign at the bottom of the screen. Enter the amount of money you want to send. Tap “Pay” at the bottom right of the screen. How to receive money using Cash App
If you have a Cash App balance and would like to use it to receive money, there are a few different ways that you can do so. You can ask someone to send you money using their Cash App balance, or you can receive money from someone who has already deposited money into their Cash App account.

Once you have received money from someone, it will appear in your Cash App balance. If you would like to use this money immediately, you can do so by tapping on the ‘Pay’ button and then selecting ‘Cash Out.’ If you would like to keep this money in your Cash App balance for future use, you can do so by tapping on the ‘Deposit’ button.
How to use Cash App for businesses
Businesses can use Cash App to pay their employees and contractors, as well as to pay for goods and services. When you use Cash App for business purposes, you’ll need to add a bank account or debit card to your account so that you can withdraw funds.
Here’s how to deposit cash on your Cash App card:
1. Tap the Banking tab on your Cash App home screen
2. Select Deposits & Transfers
3. Enter the amount of cash you want to deposit and tap Deposit
4. Select your funding source (bank account or debit card)

How to use Cash App for online payments
Cash App is a mobile payment service that allows you to send and receive money from friends and family, without having to carry around cash or a wallet. You can also use Cash App to make online purchases from participating businesses, and to pay for goods and services from select merchants.
To use Cash App for an online payment, you will need to first add your Cash Card — a prepaid debit card — to your account. To do this, open the Cash App on your mobile device and tap the “Add Cash Card” button. From there, follow the instructions on screen to complete the process.
Once your Cash Card has been added, you can use it to make online payments by entering your card information at checkout. When prompted, simply enter the amount of money you would like to spend, and then select “Continue” to confirm the payment.
Please note that you can only use your Cash Card to make online payments if you have a positive balance in your account. If you do not have enough money in your account to cover the cost of the purchase, you will need to add funds before you can complete the transaction.
How to use Cash App for international payments
You can use Cash App to pay for goods and services internationally. To do this, you’ll need to have a verified Cash App account and a supported debit card. You can use your Cash App balance or linked bank account to make international payments.
1. Make sure your Cash App account is verified. To verify your account:
-Open the Cash App on your iPhone or Android device
-Tap the icon in the top-left corner of the screen (it looks like a stack of three coins)
-Tap “Cash & BTC” at the top of the screen
-Scroll down and tap “Cash Out.” If you don’t see this option, tap “Bank” first
-Enter the amount of money you want to cash out, then tap “Cash Out”
-Confirm with Touch ID or Face ID, or enter your PIN
-Choose “Standard” or “Instant” (the default is Standard)
2. Tap the icon in the top left corner of the screen (it looks like a stack of three coins) and then select “Cash & BTC.”
3. Enter the amount of money you want to send, then tap “Pay.”
4. Type in the name, email address, or phone number of the recipient
5. Tap “Continue”
If you don’t have a supported debit card, you can still use Cash App to send money internationally via bank transfer.
